Internet TV embedded in TV set?

Posted by Admin @ June 19th, 2007 in Video Advertising

internet_tv_052407.jpgTV on demand on the regular TV set is not far away: Joost, the Internet TV-on-demand service that is closely followed by 77, is now talking with hardware vendors about embedding the service in TVs or top sets, reports TechCrunch.

From a technical point of view embedding the service is already possible. If Joost succeeds in convincing hardware producers, we can soon throw our TV guides out of the window: scheduled television will be history.
