CNN signs agreement with Google for ads

Posted by Admin @ April 1st, 2007 in Video Advertising

CNN_google_deal_083107.jpgGoogle announced in its Press Center that it will exclusively take care of the advertising on CNN.com from now on. Google is already providing the search function on CNN.com, but Yahoo is doing this on the international site of CNN, Search Engine Land reported.

This news came just after we reported that news content is the most popular form of video content on the internet. But, as we also suggested, news is hard to advertise on in an engaging way. It will be interesting to see how Google will take on this challenge. For now, it is a major channel added to the Google AdSense network.
