SEO insight: Read/Write Web says paid-for blog comments not a good idea

Posted by Admin @ July 13th, 2007 in Social Marketing

blog_comment_071207.jpgThe recent hunt for incoming linkage in SEO has gone too far, according to Read/Write Web: there are companies offering to provide incoming links from blog comments for a fixed price. They guarantee that the comments are not robot-generated. 77 is sure Google will not appreciate actions like these that could be classified as ‘black hat’ SEO and strongly advice against using these practices.

Especially since Read/Write calculated that a person would make approximately one dollar per hour writing credible and valid blog comments with links in them, this method seems hardly credible and we advise strongly against them.
