Blogs more trusted than newspapers among Italians

83.9 percent of Italian blog users say they trust blogs more than newspapers, reports ANSA (Italian). This is the result of a research by the University of Trieste, sponsored by Splinder. According to the, by far, largest part of the 4000 respondents, blogs resemble traditional journalism more than the newspapers do. Faith in newspapers is traditionally low here in Italy and we at 77 think this is a clear sign that consumers want unbiased truth and honesty.
Grassroots marketing might be the way to go, even in Italy where show generally comes first and content later. It is good to be appreciated for the way you present yourself, but to gain trust seems more important to us.
