Yahoo now allows domain blocking, too
Posted by Admin @ October 19th, 2007 in Search Engine Marketing
Yahoo! will from now on give marketers more control on where their ads will, and will not be seen. It recently added a Block Domains function to its advertising controls. You can use it to select domains that you do not want to advertise on, something the United States army might have wanted to try out before they advertised on a web site for gays (the US army refuses to recruit openly gays)
As you already knew, Google allows you the same control since a few months ago. See here for the official instructions. We at 77 regard it as a good option to look into if we yield poor results from a certain domain, and to make sure we are not advertising on a competitor’s domain.
