Google Coupons: good marketing but little used
Posted by Admin @ June 26th, 2007 in Search Engine Marketing
Doug Caverly at WebProNews points us to the fact that Google Coupons is a service not often used by advertisers. He, in turn, was triggered by an article by Jennifer Laycock at Search Engine Guide. And, admittedly, it is a service not very well known in the world of marketing, especially in Europe.
We at 77 think that Google Coupons could be a good way of attracting new customers. It certainly makes you stand out among the other advertisers on Google. And, as Jennifer points out, it is a good way to find out if your online campaign is working. The Coupons can be made as printables or as a code, which customers can use at your online shop.
Using Coupons is an option for companies that use the Google Local Business Center and one can use it in combination with Google Maps. The Google Local Business Center is a very useful tool for business to literally put themselves on the map. It confirms the existence of your business to Google and its users. In Europe it is available in Germany, Italy, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Spain.
