Economic recession: no thanks

In fast moving internet and mobile economy not everyone should fear a recession.
Despite the negative outlook for the world economy at 77 we believe that companies will continue to increase the amount of money invested in online activities at the same speed if not faster during a possible recession.
If you take a look at the chart below you will realize how marketing budgets are allocated without keeping into account the new allocation of time of people and thereafter inefficently:
On the left you can see that on average companies are investing less then 10% of their budgets online, whilst on the right you can clearly see how people are spending online over 20% of their time…
77 believes that an economic recession will be an accelerator for the new media revolution. The chart below explains that the Revolution will not change what marketing is meant for…but will open to marketeers the option to use alternative and eventually more efficient new media channels to fulfill the same goals.
