User friendly mobile marketing will deliver

Mobile content is changing shape: not so long ago there was not much choice when you wanted to buy a new ring tone, but these days you can record and store it from anywhere you want, for free. At 77 we have always believed that customers will want to receive advertisements when they are being offered free content, and since this idea was proven recently we keep finding news articles that relate to it.
MyxerTones is one of the companies that has faith in its customers, making them only pay for the ring tones and wallpapers they consciously buy, without any hidden subscriptions or extra costs. Also, you can create your own ring tone and have it sent to your phone for free. To collect it you will need to go to a mobile site where you will find several ads, though. Note that we are still in the process of trying out this service, so we cannot guarantee anything about the goodwill of MyxerTones. But so far, it sounds good.
We think that this is what Mobile will be about: creating content and sharing it like YouTube, only with typical mobile content such as ring tones, wallpapers and soon smaller videos and music files. Marketers should look for platforms that are easy to use for the publishers of content, marketers and end users. And when these platforms do not try to squeeze as much money as possible from the users, they will be glad to take a look at, or even click on an advertisement every once in a while.
