Google is basically building a free, online version of Microsoft Office, and its latest addition is a presentation tool. To
77, the fact that the basic Google Docs and Spreadsheets is free even for businesses could mean that Google is setting it up for an ad campaign directed at businesses.

Zenter, builder of online presentations was bought by Google. This means Google’s online, free office applications now have a presentation building and sharing tool.

From a marketing point of view, this provides Google with even more information on its customers. We imagine even without having access to the actual information in the documents that are shared on Google’s servers, Google can acquire plenty of marketable info on the companies using Google Docs, Spreadsheets and Presentations.

I like it!
