Emil Abirascid
Emil is a journalist who writes about innovation that becomes the new enterprise. He is the editor-in-chief of Innov’azione, a bi-monthly magazine fully dedicated to the Italian innovation ecosystem, published by Polo tecnologico di Navacchio and available online at www.lobbyinnovazione.it. He is also the author of Imprese e start up – insieme per innovare, (available at www.startupbusiness.it), the social network where startups, investors, enterprises, universities, incubators and scientific parks can share experiences, resources, projects and do business together.
In addition, Emil also leads the area fully dedicated to innovative startups within Smau- the main Italian trade show on technology- called Percorsi dell’innovazione. He writes about innovation and innovative startups on Nova – Il Sole 24 Ore, Wired Italia as well as the Italian edition of the well-known US magazine.

Charles is a young entrepreneur and the co-founder of adictiz- a social network dedicated to brands. Charles is a recent graduate from the business and engineering school in Lille, ITEEM. Apart from his sportive nature and passion for travel, Charles, together with partner in crime Antoine, is dedicating all his time and effort into making adictiz, the social media success.
Dan is the creator of Open Socket, an innovative programme allowing Open Social applications to run on Facebook. It was innovative enough that in its early days, he presented it at Google HQ, and on returning to London at the beginning of 2008 (after being based in Silicon Valley) presented it to the Facebook Developer Garage, where he met Joshua March. Shortly after, Dan and Joshua created iPlatform, a framework for hosting applications across multiple social networks with a single build.
After working extensively in ecommerce and with developers to build Facebook applications for clients, London-based entrepreneur Joshua, is the current host of the Facebook Developer Garage London. Together with his partner Dan Lester, they set up iPlatform to help companies get into social networks through bespoke design and development, community mapping, page creation and more.
Michael is the CEO of Mobile Roadie. Michael is also the founder and CEO of Fluidesign, an award winning interactive agency in Los Angeles. Michael is very active in the LA tech and entrepreneur community, serving as past board member of Entrepreneurs Organization Los Angeles, a member of NITRO, a speaker at the Southern California Entrepreneurship Academy, and a frequent guest speaker at the University of Southern California.
Nicholas is a London based technology consultant, web entrepreneur and software developer.
Amongst other projects, he runs the popular identity aggregation website Retaggr.com.
Paul Turner
Paul works on International Sales for RightMedia, the world’s largest online advertising Exchange. As part of this role, Paul has worked with prospects and Exchange members in the UK, Italy, Netherlands, Ireland, Russia, Poland, India, Israel, Australia, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil. The job involves working with current Exchange users to help develop compelling monetisation strategies and to improve knowledge of performance marketing. When he’s not talking about the benefits of using an Exchange, Paul relaxes by watching his favourite football team lose!
